Hello! I'm Deirdre, the chef behind all of the cakes & bakes. My love for pastries began in my home kitchen, learning to bake from my mother. I loved how cakes and baked goods could light up a room or transport you back to fond memories.

To hone my skills, I enrolled in and graduated from the Culinary Institute of Michigan. Schooling, as well as working in the industry, has taught me how to properly showcase fresh ingredients and develop new flavor pairings. I value simplicity, elegant designs, and exciting flavors.
